>> Jekyll, being the stubborn and straight forward person she was, couldn't help but seek out someplace that wasn't so isolated. It just made her feel extremely vulnerable being alone like that. See, she didn't mind company as long as they didn't babble about senseless stuff during their conversation. So perhaps she was merely going no where for no apparent reason, seeking a absent mind to fill her angry thoughts into, or maybe she just simply did want company. Silence and isolation only poured more evil thoughts into her already rotten heart, which mean she became more known to spit nasty threats to a kid rather then nurture their hurt paw or something. It was just as easy as anything that she had a hard life and meant only what she was taught: strive for what seemed right and give pity to none.
>> Harshness wasn't a tempting quality that she held dear, she just simply wasn't one that was part of a welcoming committee. Now getting back to what really mattered, she waked along the paved asile not extremely into anything but the sun peeling upon her back as she moved. Her shadow was creeping, swooping in on everything that she'd missed in her path of desperation. So, it wasn't a suprise that she grinned a bit when she heard the slight chatter of voices. Now whether she'd happen to run into a gang session or just a couple of streed dogs talking amongst one another, she'd be completely grateful either way. Jackpot.
>> Jekyll in her normal manner, strutted in there like any street dog but with a little more confidence hence the half side grin she held proudly. Hung like a ornament on her patterned body, the red collar just added to her confidence meter because she loved it to death. I mean if someone messed it up she'd go down so hard on them it'd seemed that they'd killed her best pal. Like always, she came in quiet and said or hinted no type of vocals towards any. Infact, she just stopped and layed down with her paws crossed once over like most dogs did while gazing at them and taking in a bit of facial features. Interesting bunch, no? Then, her tounge came lolling out to cleanse her muzzle and such before she threw it back in just as quick as it'd came out.
>> With the compacting of her ribs and stomach on the ground, her sighs and such were much more stressed yet she paid it no mind. She was getting to know these bunch of fellows and perhaps grab herself a pal. It wasn't her top priority nor would she let them even get a hint that she was doing such because she had more then a few grins in store for them. If it caused her to be blunt and simple with her words, of which she did anyway, then she'd be blunt and simple for all she cared. It wasn't like they knew her by looking at her or even gave a freak if she was breathing or not and that too would soon change all in due time. For Jekyll had a simple plan for those she came across and this plan was simply to the point. By the end of her life, everyone would know her.

Lustrous eyes were kept on the two males, one on each of them. She silently wondered what the labrador's final answer to the husky would be. This rule was a nice rule. It was true, according to life, there were no such things as second chances. One had to live in the moment. There was no time machine to go back in time. What a thought that was at the current point in time. Didn't everyone wish they could go back in time and throw in their two cents to at least set this eternal heat wave back a few years..at least? It was a wish everyone longed to become real. It would never be invented, though. All energy sources were being used to create new sources of heat for the coming ice age. There was nothingleft to invent..anything. There was no hope of turning back. This was certain. They had brought themselves to this fate. They were on a one way ticket to hell, only frozen over.
Lost in her thoughts, Naomi held little expression on her facade. Finally, when her ears pricked to his words, her skull lifted as she came out of her daze to listen to him more intently. His words gave her freedom of thought and speech, to choose where and when she wanted to go. This pleased her. Perhaps coming with him wouldn't be that bad at all. She stepped towards him, smiling. "Then the answer is yes." She said, her smile growing as she dipped her mug in a thankful manner.
At his question, she was happy to answer with a contented tone. "Name's Naomi. I don't think you've heard of me, but I've heard of you." She laughed faintly beneath her breath. "You're a 'bad boy' they say. Or are you? Enlighten me, my brother. Or should I call ya 'daddy'?" She teased with another laugh. She teased him about the whole 'family' thing, by tying in the 'daddy' thing with his bad boy type attitude.
She drew back just then, sensing a female nearby. Looking to Ziff, she wandered what he would do. After all, they were to make decisions now together, were they not? A family did not allow one of it's members to go alone into the shadows and risk themselves in a browl with the unknown wanderers that lurked there.

Heat, it was the story of life these days. Hell she wasn't complaining, she'd rather have this moderate heat (something like Florida Summer heat) than the ice age freeze that was sure to be coming, according to the bipeds that still strutted around these parts. Second Ice Age? Plu-ease. Like that was ever going to happen. How could it go from so hot that it could literally boil something or the other, to completely freezing? Yeah, sure the world was so ending. That's why everyone was dead. Tilting her narrow crème snout to the heated breeze, the scent of a little "gathering" of canines much like herself. World is ending my foot. With a sharp exhale, the crème colored femme took up a slow step, damp fur spiked out at awkward angles, twitching as her lean muscles shifted with her motion. Deep hazel chasms brining in the sorry sight of the neighborhoods as her elegant frame strutted closer, head held high flopped auds perked forward at full alert. A small smile curved about her mug, as she came up short of the handful of canines, and just stood; Watching them. [/ul]
